Steve Vacha, owner and manager of Home Standards, has 20 years of experience as a remodeling contractor and spec home builder, and another 17 years experience as an inspector.

  • – BA degree in Philosophy.
  • – CR (Certified Remodeler) status recognized by NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) in 1992.
  • – Certified Inspector designation from ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) in 2003.
  • – Certified Radon Measurement Specialist
  • – President of the Greater Omaha Area ASHI group for 2011, 2012.

 

Tim Krof is a full-time inspector with Home Standards Inspection Services. Tim was a project manager for new construction for 18 yrs in Omaha and Lincoln. Prior to that he was involved with general construction as he worked his way through college. Tim also worked with his father who was a plumber.

  • – BS degree in Business Management.
  • – Certified Radon Measurement Specialist
  • – ASHI Certified Inspector and a member of the Greater Omaha Area ASHI group.

 

 

Jon Vacha has a back ground in home construction and is a skilled concrete finisher. He worked building homes during the winter months and for a local concrete flat-work company during the summers through high school and college. After spending four years in the accounting department of Farmers National Company moved into home inspecting full time.

  • – BS degree in Business from UNO.
  • – ASHI Certified Inspector since 2012.
  • – Certified Radon Measurement Specialist in Nebraska and Iowa.
  • – President of the Greater Omaha Area ASHI group since 2015

Dave Six has experience in 25 year experience in new construction of spec and custom homes, and buildings including light commercial, residential, agricultural.

Bob Vacha built spec houses for 15 years.  He also worked for companies that remodeled kitchens and baths, built additions and finished basements. Bob taught high school English for 35+ years

Paul Pachunka  has been in the construction industry since being a teenager, working with his grandfather’s construction company over the summers, building homes in rural Nebraska. Later, he started a remodeling company specializing in new kitchens and bathrooms with the occasional purchasing of homes to remodel and sell.

Sue Josoff began her career in Customer Service for a locally-owned plumbing manufacturer. She was involved in customer service, sales, logistics, telemarketing, supervision, and finally production management.

Forrest Ruel was involved in the military with commercial buildings’ plumbing and electrical.  After the service, he was part of an 8-man construction crew building a 32-unit motel in Nebraska from the ground up. Then for several years Ihe was involved in roofing, remodeling, painting and home construction.

Jessie Fisher has 6 years experience working in the construction of commercial and residential properties as a flooring installer.  Growing up on a farm in rural Nebraska, he gained a working knowledge of mechanics and construction at an early age and spent a considerable amount of time assisting with construction projects.
